For those of you who do not know me, I am an inspirational writer who has shared my gift of writing on the internet for the past seven years. I have a website of greetings which is entitled Greetings from the Heart and Soul. I author and publish daily devotionals online, which are called 'Morning Glorythoughts'. I am the author of a book entitled Singing Loudly as Lions Roar. Most of my work has been writing, sharing the gift which God has given to me. Like so many of you, I have longed to reach out to others, to help those who are in need, but was always limited to resources. I have prayed many years and sought prayers for an outreach ministry. Not long ago, God gave me a dream which has inspired my hope and has given me a clear vision as to how He wants me to launch this outreach ministry. In this dream, I was standing in the back of a church. On the back rows of the church were seated many women. He instructed me to move up closer to the women. As I walked up behind the pews, I noticed that all of these women were suffering somehow, either with physical, emotional, or spiritual pain. I also noticed that there was a fishing line attached from one woman to the next, connecting one to another. God then instructed me to look at the front of the church. As I did so, I was shocked to see that it was in utter darkness. Then God revealed to me, that many of His daughters of Zion were not being properly ministered to, and are continually in pain and distress. In the following weeks, I began to fast and pray about my desire to have an outreach ministry, as I felt led to do. Upon doing so, God informed me that I already had one. He showed me the dream once more of the women in the church. As I asked about the needed resources, He again reminded me of the women I had seen in the church in my dream. I was able to discern that He wanted these women in pain, to help bring others out of their pain, so that they, themselves, could be delivered. There are many needs in this world, which are not being met and outreach is very much required to help alleviate some of these problems. I do not believe that I am the only one who has a desire to help others in need, in crisis. This is where you come in. I am asking for members to join me in a group effort which will be called the Ya Ya Sisterhood in Christ. As a member, you will promise to make a commitment to help in any way possible, as we attempt to offer assistance wherever it is needed, whenever we are empowered to do so. During the past seven years, my attention has been drawn to needs right here in our own country, that the daughters of Zion in the Ya Ya Sisterhood in Christ could be able to resolve. I hear of needs each and every day. It is my goal to establish a chapter in every state and to appoint a regional Director in every state. At some point in the future, this will become a reality. I have faith. With all of us working together, pooling our resources, there are many needs which can be met through our efforts. A Christian heart yearns to help those in need, to serve. While it may not be possible for one or two to meet those needs, I believe a whole body of generous and compassionate women can. In the history of this great nation of ours, many times, women have joined together to make a difference, and it is still possible today. There will be many ways of helping to raise funds for various causes. All of us will be united in this one effort to reach out to others, to help our fellow man, in ways which we never dreamed possible. In the past, as I have made requests to help certain families in dire need, certain causes, several of my readers have responded to offer their assistance. That help was greatly appreciated. Now, I am asking that you consider joining our efforts, with a vision of helping many more, on a grander scale. This effort will not be limited to only those whom I am in contact with on the internet, but will be extended to all women, who wish to be blessed, as they bless others, who have a heart for Christ, and for helping others. I will personally be praying on behalf of every person involved in this organization daily. Not only will we be able to bless others, but we shall be blessed, in return, for our participation. God is faithful. I plan to seek funding from various sources . You, also, will be at liberty to help, as well, in that area, by spreading the word of our intentions of goodwill to others, encouraging them to join with us. I am praying for a united effort to reach out to those in need, just as Our Lord Jesus has instructed His daughters to do. He delights Himself in us, and He wishes that we delight ourselves in Him. May we all join together to pursue every opportunity possible, to reach out and make a difference in someone's life, by showing the compassion and generosity of a Christian heart, by shining God's light into this world, in a united Christian spirit. There will be monthly newsletters, which will keep you abreast of every effort, and of the plans for future events, future objectives and needs. I intend to devote most of my time to this ministry and am making a commitment to God, that I will do so. Please consider becoming a charter member, during the year of 2004. I also invite any business who would like to assist in our efforts to join, as well. In closing, I will ask that you pray for this effort, all of my direction, and for members to join, for God's leading in every purpose, in every undertaking, every decision. As one, we can do little; together, we can do much. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
